How can exercising my pelvic floor muscle help to combat ED?
Exercising your pelvic floor is easy and a few contractions a day may be enough to make a difference.. You can perform them almost anywhere.
First you need to get a feel for where your pelvis is and how to control those muscles. The easiest way to do this is to stop several times during urination as it is the pelvic floor which allows you to control how you urinate.
In order to exercise these muscles, clench them and hold for about 5 seconds. You should repeat this exercise several times and change your position so that you do some of your squeezes while sitting and others while standing or lying down. After every five exercises you should pause and relax.
Make sure you are training the right muscles - if you are using your buttocks or stomach, then you are not carrying the exercises out correctly.
You should repeat this exercise routine 2 - 3 times a day.
