If you’re trying to lose weight, it’s a good idea to set yourself specific goals along the way. These are small weight loss targets that will add up to the total amount of weight you’re aiming to lose over time.

It’s important that these weight loss goals are realistic: that they’re actually achievable and safe. 

If they’re unrealistic, you might lose heart if your actual progress doesn’t match up.
