About Viagra Connect

Viagra Connect is an over-the-counter treatment for erectile dysfunction. It is the exact same as Viagra, except it can be bought without needing a prescription. It works for 74% of men who try it.

Viagra Connect is only available at a strength of 50mg, unlike Viagra which is available at 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg. This is because 50mg is safe for most men, and is the normal starting dose if you’ve not used Viagra before.

Viagra Connect contains the ingredient sildenafil, which is a medication that helps you get an erection by increasing blood flow to your penis.

Viagra Connect works in the same as as regular Viagra, by improving blood flow to your penis, making it easier for you to get an erection that’s hard enough for sex. It contains the active ingredient sildenafil, which is a type of medication called a PDE-5 inhibitor. Viagra Connect doesn’t force you to get an erection, it works by helping you to get an erection when you’re sexually aroused.

How to take Viagra Connect

You should take Viagra Connect about an hour before you want to have sex. This gives the medication time to start working. You should swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

For the best results, you should avoid eating heavy or fatty meals before taking Viagra Connect. This can make it take longer for your body to absorb the medication, so it takes longer to start working. Drinking alcohol can also make the medication less effective, and in some cases can cause unwanted side effects.

How often can I take Viagra Connect?

You should only take Viagra Connect once per day. This is because it may be unsafe to take more than 50mg of Sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra Connect, without a doctor assessing you. In addition, it lasts for many hours in your system, so taking more than one dose could lead to a build-up of the drug and cause serious side effects, such as permanent damage to your penis.

Can I take Viagra Connect with other erectile dysfunction medications?

No, you should never combine Viagra Connect with another erectile dysfunction medication. Erectile dysfunction medications such as Viagra Connect, Levitra, and Cialis all work in the same way, so taking them together could cause serious side effects. Medical devices, such as penis pumps, can be used alongside erectile dysfunction medications to give better results.

How long does Viagra Connect last?

Viagra Connect keeps working for 4-6 hours after you take it. This doesn’t mean that you will have an erection for that long, but that you will be able to get an erection if you are aroused during that time.

Does Viagra Connect help you last longer in bed?

Yes, Viagra Connect will help you last longer in bed if you’re losing your erections partway through having sex. Viagra Connect won’t help you last longer in bed if you’re ejaculating faster than you want to. If this is the case, you might want to think about getting premature ejaculation treatment.

Is Viagra Connect safe?

Viagra Connect is safe for most men if you’ve completed an assessment and a doctor or pharmacist agrees you can take Viagra Connect, then it should be safe for you to use. Viagra Connect may not be safe if you take it without a doctor or pharmacist’s approval, and it can be dangerous for people with certain pre-existing health conditions or people who are taking other medications or illegal drugs. Viagra Connect can also cause side effects for some people.

What dosages of Viagra Connect are there?

Viagra Connect is only available in a strength of 50mg. This is because 50mg of sildenafil is the usual starting dose, as it is safe and effective for most men who try it.
If you try Viagra Connect and find that 50mg isn’t right for you, you may want to try Viagra which is available at 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg.
Some men may find that Viagra Connect helped them to get an erection, but also came with some unwanted side effects. In this case, you may want to try the lower dosage of Viagra 25mg.

Some men may try Viagra Connect and it isn’t as effective as they’d like, but they didn’t get any side effects. In this case, you may want to try the higher dosage of Viagra 100mg.

If that is not successful you could try a higher dose of Viagra. Viagra Connect is only available at one dose, so you could speak to your doctor to try Viagra 100mg, which is a higher dose. If that doesn’t work, Viagra Connect may not be right for you and you could try another erectile dysfunction medication.

Are there any alternatives to Viagra Connect?

There are several alternative treatments you can take if you have erectile dysfunction. Other similar medicines include Levitra, Cialis, and Spedra, which you’ll still need a prescription to get. Some men find that lifestyle changes, such as exercise or stopping smoking, can also be helpful in overcoming erectile dysfunction. For more helpful information on what other options are available to treat erectile dysfunction, read our doctors recommendations on Viagra Connect alternatives.

For more information, you can read our doctors’ advice on how to last longer, and if Viagra Connect can help.
