How our service works

The test requires a urine sample, a rectal swab, a throat swab and a small blood sample. It allows you to get tested for several common sexually transmitted diseases in the comfort of your own home. It is recommended that you get tested for sexually transmitted infections at least once a year. If you change partners or have sex without condoms, you should get tested at least every three months.
  • Order before 4pm and we will send your test kit the same day. Orders received after 4pm will be sent out the next working day.
  • Your test kit will be posted to you via your choice of first class or next day delivery.
  • Your test results will be available 2-3 days after your sample reaches the laboratory.
HIV - if you think you contracted HIV in the last 72 hours you should visit a GUM clinic immediately. Otherwise you need to wait 4 weeks before testing or it may not show in the results.

Hepatitis B and C, and syphilis - because it can up to 13 weeks for these infections to show up during testing, if you test before then and get a negative result, you should test again after the 13 week period

Herpes, trichomoniasis, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, or gardnerella -  it takes at least 4 weeks for one of these infections to show when testing so if you think you've contracted it at some point, wait until 4 weeks afterwards to test.
